Cookies & Google Consent Mode v2
We use the GDPR Compliance Center consent management tool from Pandectes (Pudisoo, 74626 Harju maakond, Estonia) on our website, in compliance with the "google consent mode v2 advanced" update required from March. The tool allows you to grant consent to data processing via the website, in particular the setting of cookies, and to exercise your right to withdraw previously granted consent.
This website uses cookies to make the site more user-friendly and functional. These files allow us, for example, to display information tailored to individual interests. Security-related functions that protect your privacy are also enabled through the use of cookies. The sole purpose is to adapt our services to your needs as effectively as possible and to make your browsing experience as comfortable as possible. With the implementation of the GDPR in 2018, website operators are obligated to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and inform their users accordingly about the collection and processing of data.
The purpose of data processing is to obtain and document necessary consents for data processing and thus comply with legal obligations. Cookies may be used for this purpose. The following information, among other things, may be collected and transmitted to Pandectes: anonymized IP address, date and time of consent, URL from which the consent was sent, anonymous, random, encrypted key, and consent status. This data will not be shared with any other third parties.
Data processing is carried out to fulfill a legal obligation based on Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter c GDPR. Further information on terms of use and data protection at Pandectes can be found at: https://www.pandectes.io/terms-of-service/ and at: https://www.pandectes.io/privacy-policy/ .
1. Google Analytics
This website also uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google, USA"). The information collected through tracking about your use of this website is stored on a Google server in the USA. Through IP anonymization, your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted. This means that the location of your browser can only be determined regionally, not personally. Google can analyze visitor behavior to compile reports on website activity. Other services related to website and internet usage can also be provided to the website operator in this way.
The website sends data to the web analytics service Google Analytics.
The type of data transfer depends on the opt-in decision made in Pandectes' consent management tool. By default, the parameters ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, functionality_storage, and personalization_storage are denied, while security_storage is granted. With this configuration, data is only encrypted, and pings are sent without cookies. You can read more about this here. The parameters adapt variably to your consent preferences, and the decision can be changed at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer menu.
2. Retargeting
This website also uses retargeting technology to specifically target users on our partners' websites with advertising for products they have already shown interest in. Retargeting displays ads based on a cookie that is set when a product page is visited. Of course, no personal data is stored in this process, and the use of retargeting technology complies with all applicable data protection regulations. If you do not wish to see interest-based advertising, you can disable the use of cookies by Google by accessing your ad settings. Alternatively, you can disable the use of cookies by third-party providers by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative's opt-out page. You can withdraw your consent here: NAI Consumer Opt Out (networkadvertising.org)
3. Facebook plugins (Like button)
This website uses "Like" buttons from the social network Facebook (Facebook Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California, 94025, USA). When you visit our pages, a connection is established between your browser and Facebook via the social sharing plugin. This allows Facebook to receive information about your browsing behavior on the website. By clicking the "Like" button while logged into your Facebook account, the content of our pages can be associated with your Facebook profile. The operator of this website has no access to the transmitted data and no knowledge of how Facebook uses it. If you do not want Facebook to be able to associate your visit to our pages with your Facebook account, please log out of your Facebook account.
